StepStone Hospitality in St. Louis, MO seeks a Hotel Maintenance Technician to perform routine upkeep, painting, plumbing and electrical work to keep rooms and facilities in top condition.

You will replace filters, service HVAC equipment, maintain pools, and respond promptly to guest requests, aiming to deliver an exceptional experience while upholding safety standards.

Qualifications

• Must lift 70+ pounds and pull 70+ pounds.
• Knowledge of health, safety and local regulations.
• Familiar with CPR and first aid preferred.
• Comfort with basic carpentry, plumbing and electrical tasks.
• Good math and computer skills.

Responsabilités

• Assist with maintaining hotel facilities and perform minor painting, plumbing and electrical work.
• Replace air conditioner filters and service HVAC equipment.
• Tend to air conditioners, cooling towers and boilers to ensure guest comfort.
• Maintain pool area and balance chemicals.
• Respond to guest requests and resolve issues in a courteous, timely manner.

Description

• Assist with maintaining hotel, performing minor and routine painting, plumbing, electrical wiring, and other related maintenance activities.


• Replace air conditioner filters.


• Tend to air conditioners, cooling towers and boilers to provide heat, cool air, and hot water for guests.


• Maintain standards of quality guest service.


• Tend to pool area including chemical balancing, cleaning, etc.


• Increase level of guest satisfaction by delivery of an exceptional product through employee development.


• Respond and resolve guest requests, complaints, or questions in a courteous and timely manner.

Requirements

• Minimum lifting of 70 pounds.


• Pushing, bending, stooping, upward reaching, manual dexterity.


• Hearing, writing, typing.


• Minimum pulling of 70 pounds.


• Must have a comprehensive knowledge of all hotel departments and functions.


• Must have a knowledge of applicable Federal, state, and local health, safety, and legal regulations.


• Must have good mathematical and computer skills.


• High school education and relevant training and experience preferred.


• CPR training and first aid training preferred.


• Additional language ability preferred.
