UIC Government Services and the Bowhead Family of Companies seeks an Engineer to support the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane, IN. The role focuses on technical and engineering support for Strategic Systems Guidance, Navigation and Control Division, with emphasis on program plans, testing, and field deployment readiness.

The candidate should have a bachelor’s degree in engineering or a technical field, 0–2 years of relevant experience, and knowledge of missile system design.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or technical discipline.
• 0–2 years of technical experience on high reliability systems.
• Hardware experience to identify and solve problems in design and integration.
• Knowledge of missile system design and testing requirements; TRIDENT D5 preferred.
• Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

Mansioni

• Perform duties with minimal supervision and management intervention.
• Support development of programmatic concepts, schedules, metrics, and risk management.
• Assist in planning, evaluations, prototypes, production, testing, and acquisition.
• Analyze and provide rationale for program plans; deliver updated plans to government.
• Conduct market research, inspect hardware, calibrate data, and prepare for field deployment.
• Provide IV&V support on equipment development and SSP/SP27 tasks.
• Document deficiencies and coordinate revisions with internal/external teams.
• Other duties as assigned.
