Friendwell Group is seeking a reliable Hotel Engineer to maintain the physical functionality and safety of the hotel, including guest rooms, public areas, and staff spaces. The role involves responding to calls, performing carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, HVAC, and related maintenance tasks while adhering to preventive maintenance programs.

Excellent teamwork is essential as is the ability to work varying shifts, including holidays and weekends.

Qualifications

• Combination of vocational education, apprenticeship, in-plant training, or on-the-job training required.
• Hotel engineering experience a plus.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds or more.
• Availability to work all shifts, including holidays and weekends.

Responsabilités

• Respond to guest calls and team member work orders to repair non-functioning machinery or equipment.
• Perform a variety of maintenance tasks including carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, HVAC, painting, and more.
• Conduct inspections and perform preventive maintenance.
• Know hotel emergency procedures and locations of emergency shut-offs.
• Record and report completed repairs and items needing attention.

Seeking a reliable individual who enjoys working in a team environment to join our team as aHotel Engineer. The Maintains the physical functionality and safety of the hotel including,but not limited to, guest rooms public areas and employee areas.

Roles and Responsibilities: This job description is not an exclusive orexhaustive list of all job functions that an employee in this position may be asked toperform from time to time.

• Respond to guest calls and team member work orders in a timely, friendly, and efficientmanner to assess and repair non-functioning machinery and/or equipment.
• Perform a variety of repair and maintenance tasks including, but not limited to,carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, painting, HVAC work, masonry, furnishings andfixtures, wall coverings, window repairs, etc.
• Conduct inspections and maintain for preventive maintenance needs.
• Knowledgeable of hotel emergency procedures, including location of all emergencyshut-offs.
• Record and report completed repairs and items that require further attention.
• Maintain the guest room Preventative Maintenance program and consistently keep updatedrecords.
• Be knowledgeable of hotel emergency procedures, including location of all emergencyshut-offs.

Requirements: Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry,employees may be required to work varying schedules (including Holidays and weekends) toreflect the business needs of the hotel. In addition, attendance at all scheduled trainingsessions and meetings is required.

• Availability to work all shifts, also must be able to work holidays andweekends.
• Strong ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
• Strong understanding of the technologies used and required.
• React quickly in emergency situations, making sound decisions.

QUALIFICATION STANDARDS:
Education: Degree a plus. Combination of vocational education,apprenticeship, in-plant training, or on-the job training required.
Experience: Previous hotel engineering experience a plus
