Job summary

Qualifications

Salary Range: $64.00 To $66.00 Annually

This position supports the LNG Engineering & Technical Services group by providing design review, development of specifications and overall support of plant electrical, instrumentation and controls projects. This individual will be expected to have a high level of knowledge of plant systems that include: electrical switchgear, motor control centers, VFDs, transmitters, PLC and DCS systems. Working with related discipline engineers, the electrical engineer will provide guidance on how to best select and integrate new equipment into the plant. The electrical engineer will also be responsible for managing their own projects related to their field of discipline. The individual will participate in the review of vendor documents providing comments, markups and ensuring the project’s requirements are being met and comply with all applicable codes and standards. The position is multi-faceted with responsibilities that will vary dependent on the projects’ needs but will include: directly supporting responses to submittals, RFIs, the review of schedules, change orders and will assist in providing on site construction support. The electrical engineer functionally reports to the Lead Electrical Engineer.
