Job summary

Navitus Health Solutions is seeking an Engineer, IT Support to join our team. The role ensures alignment with Infrastructure to support customer-focused objectives and provides on-site administration of Data Center facilities, troubleshooting hardware and software systems.

Responsibilities include elevated technical assistance, diagnosing issues, and supporting capacity planning with end-users and vendors. Some travel and on-call support may be required.

Qualifications

Associates degree in computer science or related field.
Minimum five+ years of IT work experience.
Hands-on hardware or software installation and support experience.
Experience across multiple infrastructure areas.

Responsibilities

Provide elevated technical assistance for incoming queries related to computer systems, software, and hardware.
Diagnose problems by asking questions and running diagnostic programs.
Follow up with customers to ensure issues are resolved; escalate when needed.
Maintain accurate inventory and read technical documentation and procedures.

Pay Range

USD $54,236.00 - USD $64,567.00 /Yr.

STAR Bonus % (At Risk Maximum)

7.50 - Salaried Non-Management except pharmacists

Navitus Health Solutions is seeking a Engineer, IT Support to join our team! The Engineer, IT Support ensures efforts are in alignment with the Infrastructure team to support customer-focused objectives and the IT Vision: a collaborative partner delivering innovative ideas, solutions and services to simplify people’s lives. This role is responsible for on-site administration of Data Center facilities tests and troubleshooting hardware and software systems. This role is recognized as having a broad range of technical aptitude and experience. In addition to providing support for multiple IT systems.

Responsibilities

How do I make an impact on my team?

Provide elevated technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware. Respond timely to queries in person, over the phone, and in email from customers seeking technical help. Record user interactions in Service Desk application
Ask questions to determine the nature of the problem and run diagnostic programs to resolve problems
Follow up with customers to ensure issue has been resolved. Escalate appropriately to other support teams, as needed
Keen attention to detail and maintaining accurate inventory system
Adept at reading, writing, and interpreting technical documentation and procedure manuals
Strong ability to drive technical requirements and project plans to completion
Participate in and support capacity planning and the development of long-term strategic goals for systems and software in conjunction with end-users, third party vendors, and peers
Assist in the planning of upgrades/releases of data center and IT systems and software to limit user impact
Some travel may be required
Provide after-hours support through a rotating on-call schedule
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

What our team expects from you?

Associates degree or university diploma in the field of computer science
Minimum five+ years of IT work experience
Work experience to include extensive hands‑on hardware or software installation and support
Experience in multiple areas of Infrastructure
Knowledge of Infrastructure support, such as Microsoft Office, Windows, Server, Active Directory Users and Computers, and System Center Configuration Manager
Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws including, SAS70, HIPPA, and URAC would be a plus
Participate in, adhere to, and support compliance program objectives
The ability to consistently interact cooperatively and respectfully with other employees
