LPU Batangas is seeking a student in Greenville, SC who will contribute to developing maintainable C++ software for truck-specific configurations. You will work on embedded PC tools, validate CAN/J1939 communications, and help document software configurations.

The role emphasizes rigorous testing, adherence to quality standards, and collaboration through peer reviews and other engineering activities. This position supports a student pursuing a Bachelor's degree with strong academics.

Formación

• Student working toward a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• GPA 3.0 or higher and ability to handle confidential information.
• Experience with C or C++ programming.
• Experience writing embedded applications on microcontrollers.
• Experience with CAN and J1939 protocol.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office applications.

Your Role

About You

The company is looking for:

• Student working toward a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Strong academic record with a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of various degrees of information.
• Experience with C or C++ programming or similar languages.
• Experience writing embedded applications on microcontrollers.
• Experience working with Controller Area Network (CAN) and the J1939 protocol.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with web-based software applications including Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
• Detail oriented and quality focused.
• Ability to work independently while prioritizing workload.
• Flexible and adaptable to working under tight deadlines and changing needs.

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay range: $18.00 - $37.00 per hour, varying by location, experience, education, and skills.
