Responsibilities

• Operate GDP coaters and related equipment; participate in capsule production.
• Support the ICF target characterization lab for quality and performance assessments.
• Serve as the order champion for ICF target production from fabrication to delivery to national labs.
• Follow safety protocols in laboratory and coating operations.
• Analyze, investigate and resolve routine engineering problems.
• Perform functional testing of equipment and systems using standard engineering principles.
• Obtain and analyze test data and document findings.
• Communicate results to project engineering staff; may present to project staff.
• May provide direction to design staff or technicians.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
