Job summary

Scientific Research Corporation is seeking a C5ISR engineer to provide support for the SCMS Division at NAWCAD WOLF. The role requires a BS in Engineering with at least five years of relevant experience, including two years on air platforms or ground mobile comms.

Successful candidates will lead engineering tasks, review obsolete drawings for reverse engineering, and evaluate prototypes. A SECRET-level clearance is required, with travel under 10 days/year.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Engineering or an Engineering discipline with at least five years of relevant experience.
• At least two years must be related to air platforms or ground mobile communications.
• Experience applying C5ISR engineering techniques to plan, design, develop, test, and supervise production.

Responsibilities

• Provide C5ISR engineering support to the SCMS Division at NAWCAD WOLF.
• Lead tasks applying C5ISR engineering techniques to plan, design, develop, test, and supervise production/fabrication.
• Review obsolete drawings/equipment for reverse engineering to validate data and produce replicas or modernizations.
• Evaluate performance and reliability of prototypes/first articles; recommend changes.
• Review and develop specifications, policies, standards, or procedures; suggest design alternatives.
• Plan and perform verifications and analyses; compile and report test data results.

Salary Statement

Estimated Starting Salary Range: USD $96,600.00/Yr. - USD $160,850.00/Yr. Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.

Requirements

• B.S. in Engineering or an Engineering discipline and at least five years of relevant experience, of the minimum years of relevant experience, at least two of those years must be specifically related to air platforms or ground mobile communications, no allowable degree substitutions
• Demonstrated experience leading tasks that apply C5ISR engineering techniques, principles and precedents to plan, design, develop, test, and supervise production and fabrication
• Demonstrated experience reviewing obsolete drawings, equipment, parts, or components to accomplish reverse engineering to validate data and produce replicas or modernizations
• Demonstrated experience evaluating performance and reliability of prototypes or first articles tests, and recommending changes
• Demonstrated experience reviewing, analyzing, developing, preparing, applying engineering, technical, or maintenance specifications, policies, standards, or procedures and making recommendations for design alternatives
• Demonstrated experience planning and performing verifications and analysis and compiling, analyzing, and reporting test data results

Desired Skills

• Experience providing services to Naval Air Warfare Center, Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) at Webster Outlying Field (WOLF)
• Electrical engineering degree is preferred

SRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE U.S. GOVERNMENT, THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE U.S. CITIZENSHIP AS WELL AS, A U.S. GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE SECRET LEVEL
