Job summary

Scientific Research Corporation is seeking a qualified technician to support C5ISR systems at the NAWCAD WOLF site. The role involves assembling components, wiring, testing, and delivering ready-to-install kits following BOM and blueprints.

The candidate should have an associate degree in engineering technology or GED with extensive hands-on experience, including CAD and test equipment use.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent with 3+ years of relevant hands-on experience or GED with 5+ years experience.
• Experience assembling parts that require simple wiring, soldering, or connections.
• Ability to package hardware components into ready-to-install kits following BOM/blueprints.
• Experience performing routine tests and recording results with basic equipment.
• Experience computations, plotting data, and drawing simple curves/graphs.
• Experience using CAD in engineering or assembly tasks.

Responsibilities

• Support C5ISR systems at NAWCAD WOLF facility.
• Assist in assembling and delivering ready-to-install kits per engineering BOM.
• Record test results and report deviations for quality checks.

Salary Statement

Estimated Starting Salary Range: USD $22.88/Hr. - USD $38.13/Hr. Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.

FILLING THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON FUNDING

Requirements

• Associates of applied science in electrical or mechanical engineering technology and three or more years of relevant experience or a high school diploma / general education development (GED) and five or more years of relevant, hands‑on experience
• Demonstrated experience assembling or installing parts that require simple wiring, soldering, or connecting
• Demonstrated experience combining, organizing, and packaging individual hardware components, commercial parts, and custom assemblies into complete, ready‑to‑install packages (kits) for military systems following engineering blueprints and/or Bill of Materials (BOM)
• Demonstrated experience completing routine tasks such as tensile or hardness tests, operating and adjusting simple test equipment, and recording test results
• Demonstrated experience performing computations, plotting data, and drawing simple curves and graphs
• Demonstrated experience completing tasks that require the use of CAD

Desired Skills

• Hands‑on experience installing, troubleshooting and testing C5ISR systems for air platforms or ground vehicle communications

Clearance Information

SRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE U.S. GOVERNMENT, THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE U.S. CITIZENSHIP AS WELL AS, A U.S. GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE SECRET LEVEL
