Baltimore County is seeking an Engineer III - Stormwater Management to lead and supervise engineering projects, manage capital improvement programs, and coordinate with public agencies in Towson, MD.
Qualifications include a bachelor's degree in engineering with four years' field or office experience or an Engineer in Training certificate with four years' experience. CAD/GIS proficiency and budgeting skills are preferred.
Pay Schedule XII Grade 4M, Regular Schedule: 35 hours per week

Under general supervision, serves as a project engineer for various professional engineering projects. Manages multiple major capital improvement projects. Manages a major departmental engineering prog

Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree in engineering, plus four years' field or office engineering experience. (Additional qualifying education beyond a bachelor's degree may be substituted on a year-for-year basis up to a maximum of two years for the required experience.)

Possession of a certificate of registration as an Engineer in Training issued by a State within the United States of America, plus four years' field or office engineering experience.
Knowledge of the theories, principles, and practices of engineering. Knowledge of engineering design procedures and standards. Knowledge of construction and inspection techniques.
Skill in applying engineering principles and practices. Skill in the preparation of reports, correspondence, and other documents. Skill in the review and drafting of engineering plans. Skill in solving engineering problems. Skill in conducting field investigations and inspections.

Possession of a valid driver's license equivalent to a noncommercial, class C Maryland Driver's license may be required for some positions at the time of appointment.
