Baltimore County is seeking an Engineer III - Sewer Design to manage multiple capital projects within the Bureau of Engineering and Construction.
The role involves project engineering, supervising staff, and coordinating with outside agencies to ensure sewer design standards are met.
Pay Schedule XII, Grade 4M, Regular Schedule 35 hours per week.
A vacancy exists in the Department of Public Works and Transportation, Bureau of Engineering and Construction, Sewer Design.

Under general supervision, serves as a project engineer for various professional engineering projects. Manages multiple major capital improvement projects. Manages a major departmental engineering program.

Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree in engineering plus at least four years' current field or office engineering experience. Additional qualifying education beyond a bachelor's degree may be substituted on a year-for-year basis up to a maximum of two years for the required experience. OR Possession of a certificate of registration as an Engineer in Training issued by a State within the United States of America, plus four years' current field or office engineering experience.
Possession of a valid driver's license equivalent to a noncommercial, class C Maryland Driver's license may be required for some positions at the time of appointment.
