Job summary

Ameristar Casino Resort Spa in Kentucky is seeking a Refrigeration Technician to maintain, repair and install refrigeration systems across the property. The role requires five years of relevant experience and EPA certification, with attention to safety and confidentiality in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Responsibilities include designing installation plans, coordinating with contractors, and ensuring quality standards.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of refrigeration experience in hospitality or related field.
• Must be knowledgeable in the use of electrical test instruments such as a multi-meter.
• Must have an EPA Certification.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair, install and perform preventative maintenance on all refrigeration equipment such as walk-in coolers and freezers, ice machines and any other refrigeration related equipment.
• Braze and solder copper pipe and fittings to make repairs to refrigeration lines.
• Design and implement plans for new installations.
• Coordinate and schedule outside contractors as needed.
• Adhere to departmental quality standards.
• Follow all safety rules.
• Adhere to all regulatory, departmental, and company policies and procedures.
• Maintain strict confidentiality in all company matters.
• Review assigned work orders and determine work priorities.
• Working as part of a team, you must be willing and able to help out in other areas of the Facilities department when needed.
