Job summary

Igloo Products Corp in Texas is seeking a seasoned engineer to lead polyurethane processing initiatives for our iconic coolers. The role requires hands-on experience and a strong background in polymer science.

You will collaborate with operations and R&D to optimize formulations, ensure quality, and uphold safety in a hot/humid plant environment. A bachelor’s in engineering and at least six years of polyurethane processing experience are essential.

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or similar discipline
• Minimum 6 years polyurethane processing experience
• Able to read, write, speak and comprehend English with excellent written and oral skills
• Able to apply basic math: fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions

Minimum Requirements And Qualifications

A suitable background would be a solid experience within the following qualifications and experiences:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Polymer Science or similar discipline
• Minimum Experience: Six (6) years of hands-on polyurethane processing experience
• English Language Skills: Able to read, write, speak and comprehend English, excellent written and oral skills
• Math Skills: Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
• Physical Demands: General office and Plant floor environment
• Work environment: Plant is hot and humid in summer months, cold in winter months
• Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
