Job summary

Igloo Products Corp is seeking an Engineer III to own the polyurethane foam process, lead equipment reliability, and drive productivity gains across the plant. You will troubleshoot, monitor systems, and support new product launches while mentoring engineers and technicians.

Applicants should have a mechanical/chemical/polymer background, six years in polyurethane processing, strong English skills, and the ability to lead cross-functional projects in a high-demand manufacturing environment in

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Polymer Science or similar discipline.
• Six years of hands-on polyurethane processing experience.
• English language skills: read, write, speak and comprehend clearly; strong communication.
• Strong math skills and ability to apply fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME for Igloo’s polyurethane foam process and lead reliability of foaming equipment.
• Conduct daily manufacturing walks to identify upsets and provide hands-on resolution.
• Troubleshoot and resolve foaming process issues; monitor equipment condition and schedule maintenance.
• Lead new product launch support including foam fixture design reviews and process qualification.
• Coordinate with planning/design teams to ensure efficient production methods and lead key plant initiatives.
• Provide training (PU Foam 101) and mentor engineers and technicians.
