Job summary

Igloo Products Corp. seeks an experienced engineer for a polyurethane processing role at our Texas plant in Katy. The candidate will apply mechanical and chemical engineering principles to improve processes and product quality.

Required are a Bachelor’s in engineering, 6+ years of polyurethane experience, and strong English communication skills for collaboration across teams and shift operations.

• Minimum of six years hands-on polyurethane processing experience.

Minimum Requirements and Qualifications

A suitable background would be a solid experience within the following qualifications and experiences:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Polymer Science or similar discipline
• Minimum Experience: Six (6) years of hands-on polyurethane processing experience
• English Language Skills: Able to read, write, speak and comprehend English, excellent written and oral skills
• Math Skills: Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
• Physical Demands: General office and Plant floor environment
• Work environment: Plant is hot and humid in summer months, cold in winter months
• Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
