WOW! is seeking an Engineer III, Linux and Virtualization Infrastructure to design, implement, and operate scalable data center solutions.

You will build and modernize infrastructure, upgrade locations, and manage virtual clusters across multiple data centers to support growth. You will translate customer and business needs into reliable Linux systems, SANs, and virtualization platforms, collaborating with Networking and Security teams while mentoring colleagues.

Formación

• 6+ years of related experience as a Linux Systems Administrator or Linux Systems Engineer.
• Expertise with Linux/Unix operating systems.
• Strong networking fundamentals and SANs.
• Knowledge of virtualization and containerization like VMware, Proxmox, Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with Windows OS and MS Office applications.
• Clear written and verbal communication; ability to work independently and in a team.

Help configure new data center sites and upgrade existing locations, supporting compute, storage, and software environments.Bring new technologies to life. Maintain lab environments, test new hardware and software, and contribute research and recommendations to future technology decisions.What You’ll Bring6+ years of related experience as a Linux Systems Administrator or Linux Systems Engineer.Expertise with Linux and/or Unix operating systems.Strong networking fundamentals and a solid understanding of Storage Area Networks (SANs).Knowledge of virtualization and containerization technologies such as VMware, Proxmox, Docker, and Kubernetes.Experience managing complex infrastructure projects.Experience with Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office applications.Clear written and verbal communication skills.The ability to work independently, collaborate with a diverse team, and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment—even under pressure.A bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or an equivalent combination of training and experience (NOT required)Work RequirementsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
