Job summary

System One is seeking an Engineer III - Injection Molding in Lakewood, CO. You will lead advanced plastics manufacturing processes, optimize injection molding, and drive quality and cost improvements in a highly automated environment.

The role requires a BS in Engineering, 4+ years of GMP manufacturing experience, hands-on process development, and knowledge of mold design and regulatory requirements. Relocation assistance available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experience sufficient to perform essential functions.
• Minimum 4 years’ experience.
• Two years of GMP manufacturing experience required.
• Strong understanding of injection molding, plastics processing, tooling, and assembly.
• Hands-on injection molding set-up and process development experience.
• Knowledge of mold design, construction, and maintenance.
• Experience with mold flow simulation reviews and design for manufacturability.
• Deep understanding of polymer behaviors (ABS, PVC, Polypropylene, Polyethylene, Nylon).
• Familiarity with FDA/regulatory requirements.
• Excellent technical problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues onsite.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Physical ability to support lab and manufacturing environments, including lifting up to 50 pounds and working in tight spaces.

Compensation: $105,800.00 - $132,300.00
Schedule: Monday - Friday Day hours

Overview

A global leader in medical device manufacturing is seeking an experienced Injection Molding Manufacturing Engineer to join their team. In this high-impact role, you will directly influence the design, development, and production of next-generation medical devices while serving as the technical expert for complex, highly automated plastics manufacturing processes. You will lead the implementation, optimization, and continuous improvement of injection molding operations, driving improvements in product quality, manufacturing efficiency, and overall cost performance in a state-of-the-art manufacturing environment.
