Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of injection molding, plastics processing, tooling, and assembly.
  • Hands-on injection molding setup and process development.
  • Knowledge of mold design, construction, and maintenance.
  • Experience with mold flow simulation reviews and design for manufacturability.
  • Deep understanding of polymer behaviors (ABS, PVC, Polypropylene, Polyethylene, Nylon).
  • Familiarity with FDA/regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent technical problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot onsite.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in tight spaces.

Compensation: $105,800.00 - $132,300.00

Overview

A global leader in medical device manufacturing is seeking an experiencedInjection Molding Manufacturing Engineerto join their team. In this high-impact role, you will directly influence the design, development, and production of next-generation medical devices while serving as the technical expert for complex, highly automated plastics manufacturing processes. You will lead the implementation, optimization, and continuous improvement of injection molding operations, driving improvements in product quality, manufacturing efficiency, and overall cost performance in a state-of-the-art manufacturing environment.

Requirements

  • Hands‑on injection molding set‑up and process development experience.
  • Knowledge of mold design, construction, and maintenance.
  • Experience with mold flow simulation reviews and design for manufacturability.
  • Deep understanding of polymer behaviors (ABS, PVC, Polypropylene, Polyethylene, Nylon).
  • Familiarity with FDA/regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent technical problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues onsite.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Physical ability to support lab and manufacturing environments, including lifting up to 50 pounds and working in tight spaces.
