Location and Work Arrangement

Santa Isabel, Puerto Rico. Must reside in Puerto Rico at start. Hybrid: 4 days onsite, 1 day remote. No relocation offered.

What You'll Do

• Lead and facilitate PFMEA sessions with cross‑functional teams to identify and mitigate risks in manufacturing processes.
• Document and analyze failure modes, root causes, and effects, assigning Risk Priority Numbers based on severity, occurrence, and detection.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to recommend and implement corrective actions.
• Provide technical expertise on manufacturing processes, ensuring compliance with aerospace industry standards and company policies.
• Conduct root cause analyses and support implementation of corrective actions for process challenges.
• Partner with quality, design, and manufacturing teams to align on process improvements and product health objectives.
• Analyze manufacturing and quality data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Degree in STEM fields (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics) or equivalent experience; preferred advanced degree.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in process improvement, preferably in aerospace manufacturing.
• Strong communication and presentation skills in English (verbal and written).
• Experience with PFMEA methodology, including assigning RPNs and recommending corrective actions.
• Familiarity with root cause analysis methods such as fault tree analysis, 5 Whys, and fishbone diagrams.
• Experience reading and interpreting assembly drawings, circuit card schematics, and assembly instructions.
• Proficiency with data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Minitab) and manufacturing systems.
• Knowledge of electronics design and related manufacturing processes is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in aerospace manufacturing processes.
• Experience with manufacturing equipment and quality assurance techniques.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and aerospace standards.
