Rosendin Electric in Sterling, VA is seeking an Engineer II - SCCAF to provide power systems studies and engineering support for commercial, industrial, and data center projects. You will develop Short Circuit, Protective Device Coordination, and Arc Flash analyses, and assist with design, commissioning, and construction activities.

This mid-level role oversees junior engineers on limited projects, reviews submittals, prepares equipment specifications, and builds complete single-line diagrams.

Qualifications

• Electrical engineering knowledge: power distribution, lighting, grounding, energy conservation.
• Experience with short circuit and coordination analysis preferred.
• Engineer-In-Training and pursuing PE registration encouraged.
• LEED AP is desired for this position.
• High-rise, commercial, data center experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects of limited scope and oversee junior engineers.
• Review submittals and coordinate with Engineer of Record.
• Develop power distribution system designs and single-line diagrams.
• Perform short circuit, coordination, and arc flash studies.
• Visit sites to collect data and verify conditions.
