Job summary

Rosendin is hiring an Engineer II - SCCAF in Las Vegas to provide power systems studies and support for commercial, industrial and data center projects. You will develop short circuit, protective device coordination and arc flash analyses, and assist with design, testing and commissioning activities.

The role requires a Bachelor's in engineering and typically 2+ years of related experience. ETAP, SKM Power Tools or EasyPower experience is preferred, with strong collaboration across disciplines

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
• Typically requires a minimum of 2 years of engineering experience.
• Experience with electrical power systems analysis, protection, or system studies preferred.
• Engineer-In-Training completed or pursued; PE licensure encouraged.
• LEED AP is desired for this position.
• Combination of education, training and relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee junior engineers, designers and staff on your work or team.
• Review, comment on and process equipment and system submittals.
• Generate electrical specifications for the project.
• Develop sequences of operation for electrical systems.
• Support testing, startup and commissioning activities.
• Coordinate between architectural, structural, mechanical and electrical disciplines.
• Prepare and review power distribution designs and single-line diagrams.
• Perform short circuit, coordination and arc flash analyses.
• Model power systems and produce technical reports.
• Visit jobsites for data collection and field verification.
• Lead value engineering evaluations and client coordination meetings.
