Job summary

Rosendin Electric is seeking a mid-level Engineer II - SCCAF to perform power systems studies and support design, commissioning, and testing for commercial, industrial and data center projects. You will develop Short Circuit, Protective Device Coordination, and Arc Flash analyses, lead project teams, and collaborate with clients, contractors, and engineers to deliver compliant engineering solutions.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent, 2+ years of experience, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, architectural engineering, construction sciences, or equivalent experience.
• Typically requires a minimum of 2 years of engineering experience.
• Experience with electrical power systems analysis, protection, or system studies preferred.
• Engineer-In-Training and pursuing Professional Engineer registration encouraged (LEED AP is desired).

Responsibilities

• Lead projects of limited scope, overseeing junior engineers and staff.
• Review equipment and system submittals with the Engineer of Record.
• Develop sequences of operation and power distribution designs.
• Perform short circuit, coordination, and arc flash analyses.
• Coordinate study results with project specs, procurement and construction.
• Visit jobsites to collect data and verify conditions.
• Prepare reports and recommendations for system protection and reliability.
