Job summary

Collins Aerospace is seeking an engineer to develop and maintain 3D CAD models and 2D drawings for aerospace components and systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards. You will translate concepts into detailed product definitions, perform tolerance analyses, and collaborate with design, manufacturing and QA teams to enhance manufacturability and performance.

Qualifications

• Degree in STEM and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field.
• Demonstrated professional experience communicating in English (verbal and written).
• U.S. citizenship required.
• Experience with GD&T principles preferred.
• Experience with ASME standards preferred.
• Experience with PDM (Teamcenter, ENOVIA, etc.) preferred.
• Experience with 3D CAD modeling software (NX or SolidWorks preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred.
