Job summary

MAPFRE is seeking an experienced software engineer to collaborate with architects and senior engineers on technical design discussions. You will design, develop, implement, and test complex software solutions using modern engineering practices.

You will create comprehensive unit and integration tests, participate in peer code reviews, and build technology solutions aligned with MAPFRE's IT strategy. Collaboration with QA and proactive defect identification will be essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Software Engineering.
• 3–7 years of hands-on software development experience.
• Experience in Agile environments and using Jira, Confluence, Lucid, GitHub, Copilot.

Requirements

• Experience working within Agile development environments and leveraging collaboration and productivity tools such as Jira, Confluence, Lucid, GitHub, and Microsoft Copilot.
• Guidewire experience preferred.
