The role requires a Secret security clearance, STEM background with extensive experience, and occasional travel. On-site work is expected.
Collins Test Solutions Engineering (CTSE) is searching for a candidate to fill a Mission Systems Senior Engineering Manager position.
This position will lead a team of 12-15 software, systems and hardware test engineers in the design and development of test solutions that will be deployed to engineering and production facilities. The candidate will be responsible for providing leadership, guidance, hiring, and mentoring to new engineers. A candidate for this position will prepare/deliver performance reviews, provide coaching/mentoring, assist in career development, plan salaries, reward and recognize individuals, and manage staff performance, as needed. The candidate will also be responsible for identifying the necessary staff, facilities, and equipment for the successful execution of projects. In addition to strong leadership and organizational skills, candidates must have experience in project management. Candidate will be responsible for adherence to capital and operating budgets, schedules, work plans and performance requirements, along with the planning and budgeting for the acquisition of test equipment. Occasional domestic and international travel is rare but may be expected for this position. This role will require you to work on-site.

The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD.

Onsite U.S. Citizen, U.S. Person, or Immigration Status Requirements: Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
