Job summary

Framatome is seeking an Engineer II in Richland, WA, to contribute to design, development, analysis, evaluation, and field activities in support of nuclear energy projects. You will work under guidance with senior staff to ensure adherence to standards and regulations while applying standard techniques and adapting when needed.

What You'll Do Day-To-Day
  • Perform standard and non-standard engineering assignments typically in areas of design, development, analysis, evaluation, testing, preparation of specifications, execution of field tasks resolution of field problems and resolution of quality events.
  • Solve a range of straightforward problems, analyze solutions and assess each using standard procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with government regulations, organization, industry and customer engineering standards with support of senior staff.
  • Independently evaluate, select and apply standard technical techniques, procedures, and criteria using judgement in making minor adaptations and modifications for tasks previously performed.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience in Operations/Process Engineering or Maintenance Engineering
  • Experience with pellet presses or walking beam sintering furnaces
  • Experience with spare parts management, interfacing with Maintenance Craft and Operations personnel.

Total Rewards Package

  • Salary: $97,000 - $105,000, and may also include annual incentives and performance bonuses. The base salary range is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
