Job summary

Acuren is seeking an Engineer II in Texas to tackle intermediate-level engineering tasks across Design, Materials, Mechanical, Electrical, or Structural disciplines. You will solve fairly complex problems with general supervision and develop advanced skills for greater independence.

Responsibilities include collecting client information, scoping projects, preparing plans and cost estimates, and delivering reports with Technical Experts.

Qualifications

  • 3–9 years of experience in Design, Materials, Mechanical, Electrical, or Structural Engineering.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.

  • Conduct studies and generate observations and data as required by project plan
  • Develop draft reports and work with Technical Experts as needed to finalize for client delivery

Job description

The Engineer II position is the intermediate level of the Engineering classification hierarchy. Employees in the Engineer II position solve complex problems in engineering areas of specialization (Design, Electrical, Material, Mechanical, or Structural Engineering) with general supervision. An Engineer II is expected to develop advanced skills, and the ability to work with greater independence. An Engineer II effectively applies fundamental concepts and procedures to work that is fairly complex and varied.

Requirements
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
  • Strong technical knowledge in applicable field (Design, Materials, Mechanical, Electrical, or Structural Engineering)
  • Analytical/investigation skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, high energy, customer-focused and a positive, success-oriented attitude
EDUCATION:
  • 3 – 9 years of experience (Design, Materials, Mechanical, Electrical, or Structural Engineering)
  • Bachelors or Masters degree

Working Conditions
