Job summary

RTX is seeking an onsite Manufacturing Test Engineer in Andover, MA to execute and support test plans, collect data, and ensure quality across products with RF emphasis.

Ideal candidates hold a STEM degree (Electrical Engineering preferred) and have hands-on experience with electronics, RF, and test instruments, while collaborating across engineering and operations teams. Clearance is required before start.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in STEM or Electrical Engineering.
  • Fundamental understanding of electronics and RF.
  • Familiar with power and RF measurement instruments.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience with communication, documentation, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

  • Execute and/or support manufacturing test plans, procedures, and validation activities for new and existing products.
  • Set up and/or support operation and/or maintenance of test equipment used for production testing (power, communication, digital/analog and/or radio frequency).
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret test data; document results clearly and accurately.
  • Identify anomalies and assist with root-cause analysis for effective corrective actions under guidance from senior engineers.
  • Create and/or update manufacturing data packages including factory test procedures from Technical Data Packages and/or Test Requirements/Specifications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Operations, Design/System Engineering, Quality Engineering, Production Control, Manufacturing Engineering, Test Equipment Engineering, and Metrology & Test Equipment Maintenance Engineering.
  • Follow established engineering, operational, and manufacturing standards at the factory, safety guidelines, and documentation practices.

What You Will Do

The salary range for this role is 57,200 USD - 108,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
