Microchip Technology Inc. is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to ensure the quality of materials and components from suppliers worldwide. This role involves managing supplier certifications and quality auditing processes while collaborating with internal teams to address quality issues.
The ideal candidate should possess a bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering or science field, U.S. citizenship, and 1-2 years of industry experience. The position is on-site at the Brimbal Beverly site, with a compensatory package ranging from $70,304 to $143,000 based on experience.
The Supplier Quality Engineering team is responsible for driving the quality of the raw materials and components from our suppliers worldwide. This includes managing supplier risk through QMS certification and/or surveys, leading or supporting supplier QMS–based audits, supporting external audits related to supplier management, and driving suppliers to use robust root‑cause/failure analysis techniques and implement systemic corrective actions to address any quality issues that arise from our manufacturing sites.
0% – 25% of travel required; the position is 100% on‑site at the Brimbal Beverly site with occasional visits to the Tozer Beverly site and Lawrence, Massachusetts site.

We offer a total compensation package that includes competitive base pay, restricted stock units, and quarterly bonus payments, along with health benefits, retirement savings plans, and an ESPP program. The annual base salary range for this position could be performed in the U.S. is $70,304 – $143,000 (dependent on location, skills, and experience).
