Job summary

Microchip Technology Inc is seeking a qualified candidate to support TRB administration, NSCAR and CAPA processes within a quality-driven environment in the US. You will assist the Quality Engineering team, maintain the QMS, and participate in AS9100 audits while fostering continual improvement and training across functions.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering or Materials Science, 0–2 years in semiconductor manufacturing or QA, and strong communication and analytical

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Materials Science (or equivalent).
  • 0-2 years of related experience in semiconductor manufacturing design or processing, Quality Assurance.
  • Detail oriented and critical thinker characteristics are required.
  • Teamwork spirit is required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office for detailed metric and technical reports / presentations.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships with individuals of all levels.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

  • Acting as a Technical Review Board (TRB) admin staff by using the company TRB tool to log, keep track and maintain all TRB changes/records.
  • Work on the Non-Standard Customer Action Request (NSCAR).
  • Work on the Corrective Action Preventive Action (CAPA) system: Products/process quality issues, containment action plans, root cause determination and corrective action implementation.
  • Assist the Quality Engineering Team with the development and maintenance of the Quality Management System (QMS).
  • Participate as an audit team member to ensure compliance to AS9100 and assess effectiveness of the QMS.
  • Help facilitate continual improvement and learning culture across all functional areas through training and communication of quality initiatives.

Job Description:
