Job summary

Williams invites engineers to join our Houston team as Engineer I/II/III. You’ll perform basic engineering tasks, collaborate across groups, and apply safety and company processes to real-world projects in energy delivery.

Education requires an ABET‑accredited engineering bachelor’s degree, with experience corresponding to I/II/III; PE license and a master’s degree are preferred. Strong communication skills and ability to present to groups are valued across roles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from ABET‑accredited college.
• ABET degree; five years experience for III, two for II (as indicated).
• PE license and Master's in electrical engineering preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic engineering tasks and technical assignments.
• Applies general knowledge of business acquired through education or experience.
• Learns and demonstrates knowledge of safety requirements within the Company.
• Develops an understanding and applies knowledge of Company processes, policies, procedures, and guidelines established by organization and governing agencies.
• Prepares and delivers presentations to individuals and groups.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education/Years of Experience

• III:
  • Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering field from an ABET accredited college or university and five (5) years engineering experience in natural gas, data centers or related industry
  • Preferred: PE License
  • Preferred: Master’s degree in electrical engineering
• II: Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering field from an ABET accredited college or university and two (2) years engineering experience in natural gas, data centers or related industry
• I: Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering field from an ABET accredited college or university

Other Requirements

• Demonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as the utmost priority
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications and PC skills
