Job summary

Williams seeks an Engineer Senior or Staff to independently drive large-scale projects across the natural gas and petrochemical sectors. You will leverage decades of engineering experience, lead teams, and collaborate with leaders to advance innovative services or processes while delivering presentations and supervising team members where needed.

The role requires strong technical expertise, compliance focus, and the ability to work in a hybrid office/field environment with occasional travel up

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in relevant Engineering field from ABET-accredited college or university.
• Senior/Staff roles require PE license or related credentials.

Responsibilities

• Performs sophisticated technical tasks and leads teams in projects of major scope and complexity.
• Develops and implements technical standards and specifications.
• Interprets tech aspects of business and coordinates with leaders for success.
• Prepares and delivers presentations.
• Applies project experience to improve earnings and efficiency.

As an Engineer Senior or Staff, you will apply your years of industry expertise and experience as you work independently on large-scale projects and anticipate business trends. Responsibilities/Expectations

• Performs sophisticated technical tasks and leads teams in projects of major scope and complexity
• Participates in the development and implementation of technical standards and specifications
• Interprets technological aspects of business and coordinates with leaders to ensure success
• Prepares and delivers presentations
• Applies expertise, knowledge and experience from projects that positively impacts earnings
• Collaborates with others to ensure compliance, build improvement plans and meet training needs
• Handles resources requirements for projects
• Other duties as assigned

Education/Years of Experience

• Engineer Staff: Required: Bachelor’s Degree in relevant Engineering field from an ABET accredited college or university, OR Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Technology in a relevant field with Professional Engineer (P.E.) license; A minimum fifteen (15) years of progressive engineering experience in the natural gas or petrochemical industry
• Engineer Senior: Required: Bachelor’s Degree in relevant Engineering field from an ABET accredited college or university, OR Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Technology in a relevant field with Professional Engineer (P.E.) license; and a minimum eight (8) years of multifaceted engineering experience in the natural gas or petrochemical industry

Other Requirements

• Able to work on engineering specialties covering more than one subject area
• Demonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as a main priority
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Application and PC skills
• Preferred: PE Certification
• Preferred: Project Management experience
• Travel up to 50%
