Job summary

Donaldson India Filter Systems invites an Engineer I to lead global engineering change projects across product and process domains. You will work with the USA Team, applying expertise in mobile hydraulics and filtration systems to guide ECN/ECR activities and ensure manufacturing feasibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
• Knowledge of NX (NX11 is preferred), Creo, Teamcenter PLM, ARAS Innovator and SharePoint a plus.
• Proficient in MS Office: Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Responsibilities

• Lead global engineering change projects for product and process changes.
• Collaborate with project leaders, application engineers, sales representatives, suppliers, procurement teams, quality engineers, and production engineers.
• Utilize Oracle Business Intelligence to obtain required information about products and product supply.
• Review engineering drawings and provide design guidance for plastic, rubber, and sheet metal products.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (CFT) to resolve engineering issues in accordance with drawing standards and manufacturing feasibility.
• Demonstrate knowledge of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) workflow cycles.
• Provide design guidance and recommend alternative solutions as required.
• Demonstrate knowledge of hydraulic filtration systems and support the development of design drawings to meet customer requirements and design specifications.
• Demonstrate knowledge of ECR, ECO/ECN, drafting, PPAP, DVP&R, dimensional reports, SPC, and testing & validation protocols.
