Larson Engineering is seeking an Engineer I - Civil, an entry-level position focused on developing foundational knowledge and applying standard techniques under guidance. You will build technical capability while demonstrating professional responsibilities, reporting to the Department Manager.

• Passed Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam or in process.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Discipline).

• Exposure to engineering project work via internships/coursework/field experience.

• Performs defined portions of broader engineering assignments using established methods and guidance from experienced engineers.
• Performs standard computations and analysis.
• May participate in site visits or observe construction activities to support project understanding.
• Submits work to the Project Manager for QA/QC review and incorporates feedback as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

The Engineer I - Civil is an entry-level position for professional engineering work, focused on developing foundational knowledge and skills. This individual performs assignments that apply standard techniques, procedures, and criteria across a sequence of related tasks. They apply basic judgment in the application of established methods and in selecting among basic engineering alternatives, while building technical capability within the discipline. The Engineer I - Civil reports to the Department Manager, and is expected to demonstrate an understanding of professional and ethical responsibilities and continues to grow in both knowledge and practical application.
