HEICO in Utah is seeking an engineer to oversee all engineering and sourcing requirements for reverse engineering of commercial aircraft aftermarket parts.

You will design parts by reverse engineering, use precision tools like micrometers or calipers when needed, create 3D CAD models, and generate dimensional data reports.

Additionally, you will produce manufacturing drawings from reports and data, manage multiple projects, and prepare data packages for FAA certification.

Competenze

• Experience with 3D CAD modeling and SolidWorks.
• Ability to create manufacturing drawings from dimensional data and technical reports.
• Familiarity with FAA certification data packages and submissions.

• If required incumbent may use standard measurement tools such as a micrometer or caliper to gather dimensional data.
• Create 3D CAD models and dimensional data reports from reverse engineering data.
• Create manufacturing drawings of aftermarket parts from dimensional reports, material analysis, and available technical data.
• Manage multiple reverse engineering projects simultaneously.
• Create reports and data packages to be submitted to the FAA for certification.
