Job summary

Caesars Entertainment’s Harrah's LV seeks an experienced Engineer - Facilities to maintain and repair the property’s mechanical and electrical systems, respond to guest issues, and oversee preventative maintenance. Under the Facilities Manager, you will install equipment, train staff, and ensure compliance with safety standards.

This on-site role requires expertise across plumbing, electrical, refrigeration, and boiler systems with a focus on reliability and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Proficient in English verbal and written.
• Flexible to work various shifts, weekends and holidays.
• Plumbing: soft soldering, Sil Phos brazing, pipe threading machine, estimation, layout and fabrication of plumbing systems, cast iron pipe, steam and condensate systems.
• Welding: steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.
• Electrical: low and high voltage, conduit, troubleshooting.
• Refrigeration: low, medium, and high temp, central and remote systems.
• Central Plant: chillers, pumps, air compressor and controls.
• Boiler Plant: steam and hot water production, pumps and controls.
• Maintenance and repair of commercial kitchen equipment.
• Working knowledge of Stero, Garland, Cleveland, Gore, Hobart, Cutler, and Blodgett kitchen equipment.
• Basic computer literacy to input and gather data.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematic drawings, and technical specifications.
• Able to lift 75 lbs.
• Good hand/eye coordination and manual dexterity.
• Communicates effectively with two-way radio.

Responsibilities

Job Summary

Works under the supervision of the Facilities Manager, ShiftSupervisor,or Lead Engineer. Makes needed repairs tomaintainthe property operation andrespondto all guest complaints promptly and efficiently to avoid guest inconvenience or discomfort. Becomes thoroughly familiar with all phases of operation and maintenance necessary tooperateand repair all water heaters,pumps,and plumbing. Performs all repairs, maintenance, and replacement of parts for preventative maintenanceschedulesto ensure that equipment longevity and accurately record all pertinent data. Continually assess the preventative maintenance schedule to ensure that equipment longevity, avoidance of repairs, downtime, ease of operation, and efficiency are all being maximizedpursuant tomanufacturers'recommendations.Becomefamiliar with all Local, State, andNECstandardsas they apply. Installs new equipment and systems as directed. Performs weekly, monthly, semi-annual, and annual preventative maintenance on equipment. Assumes responsibility for training lesser-trained personnel in the building’s electrical equipment and systems. Maintains tools and maintenance equipment.Ensuresthat all established rules, regulations,policies,and procedures are strictly adhered to. Performs all other duties that may be assigned by the Facilities Manager or other authorizedsupervisors.Develops positive working relationships with internal guests through open communication,timely, andaccuratejob completion. Minimal absenteeism/tardiness.
