Job summary

LG Energy Solution Michigan Inc. (LGESMI) is seeking an Engineer, Equipment to support operation, inspection, and basic maintenance of factory automation and logistics equipment in Lansing, MI.

The role offers hands-on learning and exposure to conveyors, ASRS, AGVs, shuttles, stacker cranes, and stockers. You will work with cross-functional teams to keep equipment running, assist in preventive maintenance, document procedures, and contribute to process improvements and equipment optimization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Automation, or related field.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and automation systems (PLC, motors, sensors).
• Basic computer skills (MS Office).
• Strong problem-solving and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Operate and assist in managing factory automation and logistics equipment
• Support equipment inspection, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting
• Assist in logistics process improvements and operational efficiency initiatives

Job Overview

This role involves supporting the operation, inspection, and basic maintenance of factory automation and logistics equipment, including conveyors, lifts, ASRS, AGVs, shuttles, stacker cranes, and stockers. Entry-level engineers will assist in ensuring stable operations and process efficiency while learning hands-on technical skills.

Key Responsibilities
