Job summary

BENCHMARK is seeking a Maintenance Engineer at Hammock Beach Golf Resort & Spa. The position requires maintaining mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and general building systems to ensure a seamless operation for guests.

Ideal candidates will have experience in maintenance in a hotel or resort, demonstrate strong attention to detail, and possess excellent communication skills. The pay ranges from $18.00 to $20.00 per hour, dependent on skills and location.

Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced Maintenance person, who is highly motivated and detail oriented, to join our team as a Maintenance Engineer at Hammock Beach Golf Resort & Spa.

The resort features 285 guest rooms and 114,410 sq. ft. of meeting space. This role involves maintaining the resort’s mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and general building systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance of building and facility mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Perform general electrical repairs on appliances, house wiring, air conditioning systems, switches, fixtures, and motors.
• Repair plumbing fixtures, piping, drains, and sanitary systems.
• Repair woodwork, wall vinyl, doors, windows, carpeting, and other surface finishes.
• Perform general mechanical maintenance on pumps, compressors, water heaters, automotive equipment, and miscellaneous equipment.
• Maintain logs on completed tasks and prepare reports as requested by supervisors.
• Submit all required reports and logs in a timely manner.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a Maintenance role at a hotel or resort.
• Knowledge of household repairs including carpentry, electrical, plumbing, etc.
• Engaging and welcoming personality.

Compensation
