Department of Administrative Services
Pay Range: $40.40 – $60.60
Job Summary: The Principal Civil Engineer provides technical engineering services within the Civil and Site Development Engineering Unit. Provide civil, municipal, environmental, and structural engineering planning and design services for various Public Works projects, including field work for surveying and construction coordination . Provide project management services for projects designed by outside consultants. Manage annual programs such as asphalt assessments, sanitary sewer inspections and repairs, etc. Independently lead projects, work as part of a team, and provide support to Sr Engineers and Construction Coordinators. The primary purpose is to implement projects approved in the Capital Budget and to provide day-to-day civil engineering services to customer departments, including fieldwork.
