Job summary

NC Dynamics LLC is seeking an Engineer/Catia Programmer to program CNC equipment, select tools, and optimize cutting processes. The role requires strong CATIA V5 programming skills and aerospace experience, with the ability to read drawings and apply GD&T, and to use MS Office tools for documentation.

The ideal candidate will have a High School diploma or GED and a minimum of 5 years in CATIA V5 programming, with good English communication.

Qualifications

Job Title: Engineer/Catia Programmer

Job Functions

• Program CNC equipment
• Choose cutting tools that will create an efficient and cost-effective part
• Analyze and select speeds and feeds that optimize the cutting process
• Establish processes and procedures
• Design fixtures and work holdings to accommodate CNC Programs
• Create setup sheets and instructions for Machinist
• Optimize and maintain programs files, and production setups
• Troubleshoot and develop solutions to programs and production setups
• Comply with all safety rules and regulations
• Time Management and Organization
• Communicate and collaborate with Engineers and Machinist
• Must be able to handle flexible hours
• Other duties as assigned

Position Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in Aerospace/Aerostructures industry
• Minimum 5 years’ CATIA V5 Programming experience required
• Advanced knowledge of reading drawings and specifications with an understanding of geometric tolerances and dimensions
• Microsoft Suite proficiency (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
• Must have a professional attitude as well as a passion for continuous improvement
• Must be able to speak/read/write English

Physical Demands

• Is regularly required to stand for long periods of time
• Must lift and/or move up to 35 pounds to chest level
• Occasionally must lift up to 25 pounds over the head
• Subject to hearing requirements
