Job summary

LER TechForce in Auburn Hills, MI is seeking two Logistics Engineers for an onsite role supporting a calibration lab within a leading automotive OEM.

This position suits a recent engineering graduate or early-career engineer with internship experience in engines or powertrain systems. You will coordinate work orders, support lab operations, and manage requests using internal tools while collaborating cross-functionally.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field, recent grads encouraged.
  • Basic understanding of internal combustion engines and major components.
  • Exposure to engine systems through coursework, projects, or internships.
  • Ability to read and interpret CAD drawings (preferred).
  • Familiarity with basic lab tools such as a multimeter is a plus.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and generate work orders between Calibration Engineers and internal teams.
  • Support day-to-day lab operations by ensuring proper communication and workflow execution.
  • Track and manage work requests using internal systems and tools.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, lab personnel, and other departments.
  • Assist in organizing test activities, parts movement, and documentation.
  • Maintain accurate records and reporting using Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ensure clear separation of responsibilities when working alongside union-supported teams.
