Develop knowledge of applicable standards, codes, regulations, equipment, materials, systems, and business processes.* **Leadership & Collaboration:** Work effectively with team members and higher-level engineers, coordinate routine activities as needed, and demonstrate a willingness to take on increased responsibility and leadership opportunities.* **Planning & Organization:** Support project planning, scheduling, cost estimating, and status monitoring. Use established engineering and scheduling methods to complete assignments according to project plans and timelines.* **Problem Solving:** Gather and analyze information to address routine technical issues. Apply sound engineering principles and identify opportunities for new or improved approaches.* **Communication:** Communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing. Assist with technical reports and documentation, follow instructions, and seek clarification when needed.* **Interpersonal Skills:** Build effective working relationships, collaborate across teams, share information, and contribute to a positive team environment.* **Decision Making:** Make routine decisions within established guidelines and contribute to team decisions with guidance from more experienced employees.* **Business Awareness:** Develop an understanding of department responsibilities and customer needs.
