Technology Partners is currently seeking a talented Engineer 2, Test Automation.

What You Will Be Doing:
We are seeking a talented Engineer 2 to join our team. In this role, you will leverage your technical knowledge to solve complex business problems and serve as a subject matter expert in your area of focus. You will be responsible for evaluating technology effectiveness through requirements gathering, testing, research, and investigation, making recommendations for improvements that enhance quality and effectiveness. Your ability to understand customer needs and provide high-quality solutions is crucial.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate technology effectiveness through requirements gathering and testing.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on complex assignments.
  • Create and implement automated test suites and plans based on specifications.
  • Utilize SQL for testing and data validation.
  • Use source code management tools like Git or BitBucket and Jenkins.
  • Work with automation tools such as BDD frameworks (e.g., Cypress, Lighthouse).
  • Maintain documentation on automation modifications and updates.
  • Collaborate effectively with various roles within the organization.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
  • Commitment to incorporating security into all decisions and daily responsibilities.
  • 3+ years of experience building and executing automated test suites.
  • 3+ years of experience with client-server/web application/web services test automation tools.
  • Experience creating and implementing SQL.
  • Proficient in designing, producing, executing, and maintaining automated test plans and cases.
  • Experience with source code management tools (Git, BitBucket) and Jenkins.
  • Familiarity with automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Cypress, Lighthouse).
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
  • Understanding of software development methodologies, particularly Agile.
  • Strong analytical, documentation, and teamwork skills.
  • Proven ability to identify opportunities for task automation and process improvements.
  • Self-starter who can thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Object-Oriented programming.
  • Experience with the Atlassian suite (Jira, Zephyr, Confluence).
  • 3+ years of experience with Java and JavaScript.
  • 3+ years of experience with React, Node.js, or Angular.

Pay: $47.60 - $68.00 /hr.
