State-of-West-Virgini seeks a licensed Professional Engineer to join the Office of Abandoned Mine Lands and Reclamation (AML&R) Design Section in Charleston or Fayetteville. The role performs engineering services, reviews designs, and coordinates geotechnical investigations to support reclamation projects.
Required are a Bachelor's degree in engineering and an active PE license, plus 0–7 years of total engineering experience (3+ years as a PE).

Employee will be assigned to the Office of Abandoned Mine Lands and Reclamation (AML&R), Design Section in the Charleston Headquarters or Fayetteville Regional office. Under supervision of the Charleston Design Administrator, employee will perform work on a variety of engineering services.

A Bachelor's degree in engineering curriculum is required.
Training: Current Professional Engineer (PE) license issued by the West Virginia State Board of Registration for Professional Engineers.
AND
Experience: 0 to Seven (7) years of full-time or equivalent part-time paid experience in engineering, in which three (3) years must be as a licensed Professional Engineer.
Note:The experience must have been acquired after the bachelor’s degree but may have occurred before or after registration as a professional engineer.
