Ameren Missouri is seeking a Commissioning Engineer to perform startup and checkout activities for new assets supporting Missouri Regulated Generation Non-Nuclear energy centers. The role requires travel between energy centers and will support the DRC and sites outside the St.
Louis area. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Engineering, with preference for a PE license, and has experience with electrical equipment, testing, and project leadership.

The Commissioning Engineer performs startup and check out activities for new assets as assigned by the Commissioning Supervisor. This position has primary responsibility for supporting Missouri Regulated Generation Non-Nuclear energy centers with travel required.
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an accredited college or university is required. PE License is preferred. Relevant engineering experience is preferred. Experience managing, supervising, or leading people preferred. Experience with low/medium/high voltage electrical equipment, including but not limited to switchgear, MCCs, motors, transformers, buses, instrument and controls engineering, field testing and troubleshooting of industrial equipment etc., preferred. Experience with protective relaying is preferred.
Must possess excellent analytical, communication, computer, human relations, and leadership skill. Travel between energy centers and the DRC and outside of the St. Louis area required. Subject to call-outs, nights, weekends and/or holiday work to support power plants.
$71,100.00 - $215,300.00
At Ameren, base salary is one component of a competitive compensation package for employees. Our pay ranges are broad to allow for movement within our organization and to accommodate different skill sets and levels of expertise. We take into consideration a variety of factors including, but not limited to, skills, abilities, experience, education, credentials, and internal equity when determining the base salary offered. Roles are eligible for additional rewards including annual incentive payments based on individual and company performance.
