Ameren Transmission in Illinois seeks a Manager Transmission Construction to lead a team in planning, organizing and executing transmission construction projects. The role focuses on safety, on-time delivery and budget adherence.
Ideal candidate holds a BS in Engineering with a P.E. license in MO/IL and PMP certification preferred; requires 7+ years of project construction experience and 5+ years in supervisory roles. Travel and overtime may be required.

The Manager Transmission Construction manages a team of employees and consultants to plan, organize and execute Ameren Transmission construction projects.
Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering from an accredited college or university required. Professional Engineer License (P.E.) in Missouri and/or Illinois preferred. Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification preferred. Seven or more years of project construction experience required. Five or more years of supervisory or high-level team/project leadership required. Transmission line or substation experience preferred.
In addition to the above qualifications, the successful candidate will demonstrate: Good leadership, management, analytical, communication, flexibility and human relations skills required. 24/7 availability required. Construction site visits are expected. Assists in storm restoration. Travel and Overtime may be required. After preliminary review, selected applicants must take the First Line Supervisor Test and obtain a recommended status in order to be eligible for additional selection procedures.
Ameren's selection process includes a series of interviews and may include a leadership assessment process. Specific details will be provided to qualified candidates. The selected applicant's primary facility within the Ameren service territory will be determined upon hiring.
$131,900.00 - $204,400.00
At Ameren, base salary is one component of a competitive compensation package for employees. Our pay ranges are broad to allow for movement within our organization and to accommodate different skill sets and levels of expertise. We take into consideration a variety of factors including, but not limited to, skills, abilities, experience, education, credentials, and internal equity when determining the base salary offered. Roles are eligible for additional rewards including annual incentive payments based on individual and company performance.
