Running Aces Casino Hotel Racetrack in Columbus, MN invites a Maintenance Engineer to join our facilities team. This full-time role covers operation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and life-safety systems across the property.

You will work rotating day and night shifts, with some weekends and holidays, and enjoy benefits including medical, vision, dental, 401k, PTO, and employee discounts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• EPA 608 Certification or ability to obtain within 90 days.

Salary Range: $22.00 To $26.00 Hourly

MAINTENANCE ENGINEER

The Maintenance Engineer is responsible for the operation, maintenance, and repair of essential facility systems and equipment, including kitchen equipment, HVAC systems, fire/life safety equipment, plumbing, electrical systems, carpentry, and fixtures throughout the property.

Key responsibilities

Key responsibilities include performing technical and mechanical tasks, troubleshooting issues, and completing repairs promptly to ensure the facility operates smoothly. The role also requires maintaining a professional appearance, ensuring a clean and organized work environment, and performing additional duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Technical, Armed Services, vocational or on-the-job training in one or more of the following areas: HVAC, electrical, mechanical, carpentry, or plumbing
• Familiar with fire/life safety equipment and procedures
• Valid driver license with an acceptable driving record and reliable transportation
• Excellent customer service skills; ability to successfully interact with others
• Familiarity with blueprints and code requirements
• EPA 608Certification or the ability to acquire within 90 days of employment
• Ability to lift at least 75 lbs., work from heights, distinguish colors accurately, and climb ladders frequently
