Job summary

Flynn Hospitality is seeking an Engineer – Preventative Maintenance to join our team in El Paso, TX. You will perform scheduled maintenance across the hotel property, service HVAC, electrical, plumbing and fire safety systems, and document all work.

The role requires safety compliance, independence, and a customer‑oriented approach to guest comfort. Basic maintenance background is required; hospitality experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Background in general maintenance, building operations, or facilities.
• Willingness to follow preventative maintenance checklists.
• Detail-oriented, dependable, and safety-focused.
• Ability to work independently and stay organized.
• Physical ability to lift 25+ lbs and carry tools.
• Hospitality or hotel experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled maintenance rounds across hotel property.
• Inspect and service building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire safety.
• Document work, log service records, and report issues.
• Ensure all equipment meets safety, brand, and compliance standards.
• Support guest satisfaction by maintaining a safe and functional environment.

What You’ll Do

As an Engineer – Preventative Maintenance, you will:

• Perform scheduled maintenance rounds across hotel property
• Inspect and service building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire safety
• Document work completed, log service records, and report potential issues
• Ensure all equipment meets safety, brand, and compliance standards
• Support guest satisfaction by maintaining a safe and functional environment
• Collaborate with Engineering Lead or Supervisor and support overall department needs
