Job summary

Cenergy International Services is seeking an Engineer, Guidance, Navigation, and Control 3 to support its GNC Department in Chandler, AZ. You will work on the Glide Phase Interceptor Program, designing, implementing, and testing advanced GNC algorithms and software.

The role requires experience with Kalman Filtering, signal processing, and proficiency in C++, MATLAB, and Python. A strong statistics foundation and travel up to 10% are expected.

Qualifications

• Kalman filtering experience required.
• Signal processing for guided missiles/interceptors.
• Proficiency in creating and maintaining algorithms and analysis tools in C++, MATLAB, and Python.
• Strong foundation in probability theory / statistics.
• Experience with Electro-Optical imaging systems.
• Travel 10% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Designs, develops, implements, verifies, and tests algorithms and software and simulation tools for guidance, navigation, and control across phases.
• Develops and tests simulation tools for guidance, navigation, and control of various platforms.
• Processes measured data and substitutes into algorithms simulating physical reality.
• Formulates equations to achieve desired position, orientation, or orbit in space.
• Develops control laws and hardware/software requirements for vehicles and spacecraft.

Summary

Our company is looking for an Engineer, Guidance, Navigation, and Control 3 to support our GNC Department. As a member of the SW/GNC Department, you'll get to work on the Glide Phase Interceptor Program.

Responsibilities

Designs, develops, implements, verifies, and tests algorithms and software and simulation tools to perform guidance, navigation, and control of aircraft, spacecraft, submersibles, surface ships, missiles, launch vehicles, and upper stages during powered and coast phases of launch, flight, Earth orbit, interplanetary cruise and orbital insertion, as well as during staging events. Navigation functions include statistically processing measured data points and substituting them into algorithms that simulate physical reality. Guidance functions include formulating specific equations to achieve a desired position, orientation, or orbit in space. Control design and analysis processes consist of the development of the control laws and hardware and software requirements for aircraft, launch vehicles and/or spacecraft.
