Job summary

CraneWerks Inc. in Morristown, Indiana seeks a full-time Forklift Operator to load and unload steel and materials, gather skids, and support daily shipping and receiving needs.

The role requires the ability to lift, move, and organize materials safely, strong attention to detail, and teamwork; a valid Driver’s License is required; on-site work and strict safety adherence are expected. Experience in a shop environment is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse, shop, or material-handling environments.
• Ability to lift, move, and organize materials while following safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload steel, materials, and products safely and efficiently.
• Operate forklifts to transport materials and products within the shop; overhead crane experience is preferred.
• Gather skids and prepare materials for shipping, receiving, or internal movement.
• Verify incoming and outgoing materials for accuracy and report any discrepancies.
• Assist with organizing steel, supplies, and shop materials in designated areas.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment while following all safety protocols.
• Collaborate with team members to complete daily shipping, receiving, and material-handling tasks.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
